Re: :::The Book Club:::
Question: How long would it take you to read a 400 page book? ^-^
Well it depends on who reads it. For people like me who love reading and could read all day would finish in a day or a day and a half. If they are people who like reading but would rather do something else in their spare time like play ona computer then it would take a very long time like up to a week or two. So it all depends on who reads it.

Re: :::The Book Club:::
Right now I'm reading Paper Towns by John Green, it's my first proper book of 2014 (look how lazy faye is haha). I'll write a review on it when I finish, but so far I probably wouldn't recommend it to younger forum members xD
ad le weekly question:

ad le weekly question:

It would depend on the book for me; I remember reading 500 pages of Harry Potter in one night in Year 5/the fourth grade xD Nowadays though, I don't have that much spare time so I'd say around a week or two lol. I get motivated to read certain books of my own choice, but if I'm forced to read something for example, I tend to prefer doing other activities xD

What book or series are you recommending?: Wonder
Author(s): R.J. Palacio
Why do you recommend it?: This book explains how every student around the world don't tend to mix in with kids who are different from them or those who don't have the same interests as them. Especially kids with a medical condition. If they somehow see someone different from the other kids they will not talk to them, but talk behind their back and make fun of them in front of their face.
What is it about (please don't give out any spoilers!)?: This is about a boy named August who has a medical condition where his face looks "melted", after being homeschooled because of his surgeries he is finally entering school [fifth grade]. There is some kind of "cheese touch" going around, meaning that if someone touches August people will not talk to that person and act as if they were August himself.

- Divergent Review :
- {Review Form}What book are you reviewing?: Divergent (First book in the Divergent series)Who's the author?: Veronica RothWhat is it about (please don't give out any spoilers!)?: (Since I am lazy.. here is the summary of it on the book xD)- In Beatrice Prior’s dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can’t have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris, and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together, they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes-fascinating, sometimes-exasperating boy fits into the life she’s chosen. But Tris also has a secret: one she’s kept hidden from everyone, because she’s been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly-perfect society, she also learns that her secret might be what helps her save those she loves . . . or it might be what destroys her.Rate it out of 5 stars: 5/5 c:Details about your review: This was by far one of the best books I have ever read. And I have read a lot of books, aha. Divergent is full of adventure, twists, love, and is packed with a strong vibe all through it. The great thing is that it pulls you in from the very beginning. Usually I'm hooked on a book maybe on the 40th page or so. But in Divergent... I was pulled in on the 2nd page. No joke. There's a great love story to it, but with a fantastic plot. The characters are perfect and Roth sets the setting and storyline very well. Amazing book overall. I can't wait to see it in theatre and pick up Insurgent while I'm at it.Age range: Maybe 12+Would you recommend this to anyone?: DefiantlyAnything else: Nope c: Oh and I'm sorry I'm so late on this book, kay. xD
