Hello, and welcome to the first post of Back Around the Sound. Well, why don't we get started.
{Pure Heroine}
Lorde
Tennis Court: This song has a very nice beat to it. The message of the song is great, and the song is relaxing and.. tranquil.
400 lux: The music has a nice drum step and it is followed up with a shallow siren sound, which is quite lovely.
Royals: Ah, yes. Her most famous song. Yes, it is a wonderful song, but I find it more 'poppy'. Besides that, it has a nice rhythmic tune to it and her voice is fantastic.
Ribs: In the beginning the sound is mellow and low the raises
its beat, which I enjoy. Her voice in this is very 'loose'. It's very relaxed and lazed. It is so wonderful.
Buzz cut season: My favorite song of the whole album. The rhythm is amazing. It is light, yet full of expression. He voice is airy and light. This song was absolutely amazing.
Team: At the start the song is acapella, after a short while a beat starts to develop. The way she sing an the tune of it is upbeat. You can just feel that freedom and happiness in th song.
Glory and Gore: It is definitely one of my favorites. Her voice is rich and velvety in this one with a touch of lightness. The harmony in this is awesome. The tune and beat is simply great.
Still Sane: The rhythm has a nice vibe to it and her voice is fantastic in this one. It's. Great song.
White teeth teens: My favorite rhythm of the song. It has a mixture of bells, drums, and tambourine. Her voice is also phenomenal in this and the vocals are nice.
A world alone: This song by Lorde stands out. The rhythm in it is different than her other songs. You here more of acoustic guitars. Her voice was a bit different and the message is awesome. It still has the 'lorde' vibe though. It was a perfect closing song for Pure Heroine.
Overall, one of the best albums I have ever heard. It was well put together and fantastically executed. I am excited for her next album and I hope you guys will check it out soon too.
Song: Dead In the Water
Artist: Ellie goulding
This was the last song i heard, and i thought it would be nice to have as our first song of the week. Has an amazing vibe, lyrics, and vocals.

Getting Out Alive by Ke$ha

I never listen to Ke$ha, but I decided to give it a go. The beat and rhythm of this song is upbeat and has a really pumped up tune. The vocals are nice, but there is way too much auto - tuning. In my opinion, it is just another mainstream pop song. I'd advise you to check it out, if you like this sorta thing. Overall, i'd give it a 5/10.
